Biography

Jane Chin-A-Fo is a Dutch photographer, born in Suriname. She lives and works in The Hague.

In May 2024 she graduated from the Photo Academy Amsterdam with the project Another Place. This work is based on the theme of belonging. With her poetic and timeless images, she transforms nostalgic desires and a melancholic world into a universal image. Her work is an appeal against polarization and contradictions; Creating a common ground to unite is central. 

Her other work is also based on social themes.
